ARVO 9000 Puffs Disposable Vape in Yellow Starburst, for Australian buyers
The Yellow Starburst option delivers a bright and refreshing profile inspired by a sweet citrus style experience. The maker says it combines a smooth fruity character with a balanced finish, creating an enjoyable choice for customers who prefer a vibrant and uplifting option. It runs on the ARVO 9000 PUFFS platform, pairing an ultra strong mesh coil with adjustable airflow and a 2500mAh built in battery.
Vibrant and uplifting are not words the maker uses lightly. Across all sixteen options in this range, this is the only one described that way, and it sits at the opposite end of the range from the dark berry options that open the list.
The name points at yellow and the profile is described as sweet citrus style, but no specific fruit is named anywhere in the published description. There is no lemon, no orange and no lime in it as far as the maker’s wording goes. That is worth saying plainly, because most people will assume one.
The published profile
No citrus fruit is named anywhere in this range
This surprises people, so it is worth setting out. You might expect a range of sixteen options to include an orange or a lemon by name. It does not.
| Citrus leaning option | What the maker says | Is a fruit named |
|---|---|---|
| Yellow Starburst | Inspired by a sweet citrus style experience | No |
| Pink Lemon | Bright citrus notes with a smooth sweet finish | No |
| Passion Fruit Mango Lime | Lime provides the refreshing touch and citrus finish | Yes, lime |
Only one of the three names its fruit, and it does so because lime is the third element in a blend rather than the point of the option. If you want a named citrus in this range, that is the only place to get one.
The least sweet of the borrowed names
Three options in ARVO 9000 borrow sweet shop names, and readers assume they are variations on the same thing. They are not. Skittles is a mixed fruit profile, Chuppa Chupps Strawberry is a candy led strawberry, and this one is citrus, which makes it the least sweet and the most lifted of the three.
If you tried one of the other two and found it too sweet, this is the one of the three most likely to change your mind. If you tried one and wanted more sweetness, this is the one to avoid.
ARVO 9000 specifications
Airflow on the brightest option in the range
There are no power modes and no display on this device, so adjustable airflow is the single control, and on a bright option it is mostly about stopping bright from becoming thin. Bright profiles have less body to begin with, and opening the airflow fully is the fastest way to lose what is left.
A slightly tighter setting than you might use elsewhere keeps the smooth fruity character the maker describes intact while still letting the citrus lift come through. If you have found citrus options thin elsewhere, this is the adjustment that usually fixes it.
